HVAC Service Technician –
LEVEL 1
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment in order for advancement
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
  • Work from 28’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladder
  • Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
  • Insurable driving record
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
  • Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
  • EPA certification
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
HVAC Service Technician –
LEVEL 2
  • Meet all qualifications and have all tools required for Service Technician Level 1
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of service tools and testing devises
  • Demonstrate ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on residential systems with minimal assistance and supervision
  • Understand benefits of preventative maintenance
  • Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of soldering and refrigeration procedure
  • Enroll in classes to acquire Low Voltage Energy License.
  • NATE Core Certification
HVAC Service Technician –
LEVEL 3
  • 21 years of age, high school diploma/GED equivalent; trade school, college credit and/or military experience desirable
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certificate
  • Continually displays basic knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles
  • Continually demonstrates basic knowledge of service tools and testing devices
  • Effectively communicates the value of preventive maintenance to residential, commercial customers
  • Continually demonstrates knowledge of low voltage skill with 2 years of employment at Service Technician Level 3
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to assume leadership roles as assigned and training assignments for Level One Service Technician and Level Two Service Technician.
  • Valid driver’s license; insurable by EnviroControl Systems’ insurance carrier
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with EnviroControl Systems’ team members in both spoken and written language; able to follow written and verbal directions as given
  • Demonstrates aptitude to position based on Job Profile Assessment when applicable
  • Demonstrates mechanical aptitude including ability to safely and correctly operate power and hand tools
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop customer service skills
  • Demonstrates willingness to invest time in self-improvement through service training seminars and classes; enrolls in HVAC course, Apprenticeship program, and in-house training programs
  • Acquires all tools required for Level Three Service Technician per ECS Tool Schedule; demonstrates willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
HVAC Service Technician –
LEVEL 4
  • 21 years of age, high school diploma/GED equivalent; trade school, college credit and/or military experience desirable

  • Continually displays mastery of all requirements of Level  One, Level Two, Level Three,  Level Four  Service Technician
  • Demonstrates willingness and ability to assume leadership roles as assigned and training assignments for Level One Service Technician and Level Two Service Technician.
  • Valid driver’s license; insurable by EnviroControl Systems’ insurance carrier
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with EnviroControl Systems’ team members in both spoken and written language; able to follow written and verbal directions as given
